Eat Fewer Fatty Foods to Be Healthier
Eating a lot of fatty foods can lead to heart disease, certain cancers, and obesity. Changing some of your eating habits can help lower your risk of these health problems.
Eat fruits and vegetables at each meal. Then you won't be hungry for junk foods.
Buy nonfat or low-fat foods. Check nutrition labels on packages for grams of fat, especially saturated fat. The more grams, the fattier the food. Buy foods with the least fat. You can get many foods like milk, cheese, and salad dressing without fat.
Avoid fried foods. Bake or broil meats like chicken, fish, and turkey. Take off the skin. Cook with little or no oil, butter, or lard. Use herbs and spices to flavor food instead of fat or salt.
