Give Your Children a Shot at Good Health
Children need shots, also called immunizations. These shots protect your children from many conditions, such as chickenpox and measles.
Measles, mumps, and polio may seem like conditions of the past. But your children can still get them without the proper shots. Also, your children may not be allowed to go to school or day care if they don’t get their shots.
To avoid some diseases, your children need shots at certain ages. If your child has missed a shot, talk with his or her doctor. If you are not sure whether your child has the shots he or she needs, ask your child’s doctor.
If you need help finding a Keystone Mercy doctor or making an appointment, please call Member Services at 1-800-521-6860. You can also go to Keystone Mercy’s provider directory to find a doctor.
Keystone Mercy also has a special program for children called the EPSDT program. For more information, please call Member Services and ask for the EPSDT unit.
