Have You Had a Checkup Lately?
You may think you need to see the doctor only when you are sick. But having checkups when you feel fine can help you stay healthy. You do not have to pay for a checkup.
Why go? When you go for a checkup, you can learn ways to stay healthy. Also, the doctor may find problems you might not know you have and treat them before they get worse. This could help you be healthier or even save your life.
What will happen? Your doctor will review your health history and ask how you feel. Your doctor will also take your blood pressure, weigh you, and listen to your heart. If you are a woman, you may need a pelvic exam and a breast exam. This is a great time for you to ask your doctor questions you have.
So go ahead-get a checkup. It is worth the time and effort. And the people who care about you will be glad you did.
